Design-partner program

Help shape DataPulse AI. Pay less for it.

We are looking for our first three to five design partners: Databricks platform teams on Unity Catalog and serverless who want a measured result before they commit.

  • A free 60-day pilot on your workspace, with the success criteria agreed in writing before it starts.
  • Then a reduced first-year price, with the price locked for a second year.
  • In return: a written case study, a reference call, and the verified-savings report from the Overview.

What you pay Databricks to run it

DataPulse runs in your account, so you also pay Databricks for its compute. We estimate about $300 to $700 a month: roughly $200 to $300 for the app's serverless compute (a Medium app running all month), plus about $100 to $400 for warehouse queries and DataPulse jobs, depending on your workspaces and the schedules you enable.

This is an estimate from list rates, not a measurement. It varies by cloud and region, and we will replace it with a measured figure.

Questions

Why no per-DBU or per-table charge?

An app that runs inside your account cannot meter your usage without data leaving it, and it sends nothing to us. A flat price by spend band is also easier to budget.

How is the licence checked?

With a signed licence file that the app checks offline. It carries your tier and its expiry, and features above your tier are switched off. Once a year the app generates a spend-band report from your own billing data. You review it and share it with us; nothing is sent automatically.

Do you have a SOC 2 report?

No, not yet. The security overview sets out the architecture, the permissions and the known limits so your team can review it, and we will walk your security team through it.

What do I need to install it?

Unity Catalog with system tables enabled, serverless compute, a serverless SQL warehouse, a Model Serving endpoint you can query, and the grants in the admin guide. One install covers one account and one region.

What happens when the Free Health Check ends?

After 30 days the app asks for a licence file to continue. Your data and the app's state stay in your account either way.
